Growing up in North Yorkshire 2022
In May last year, children in Y2 and Y6 completed a survey entitled ‘Growing Up in North Yorkshire’ which requested the children answer questions on their daily lives. Questions such as ‘Did you eat breakfast this morning?’, ‘Do you like being at school?’, ‘How well does your school deal with bullying?’ and ‘Have you ever been to swimming lessons?’. Children in Y2 were asked approximately 50 questions whilst children in Y6 were asked about 80 questions. North Yorkshire then compiled the answers and compared these with a larger sample from our area (North Yorkshire). We are delighted to share that Colburn Community Primary School's results are developing and are beginning to show positive signs – a selection of the results can be seen below.
The first percentage shows Colburn Primary results whilst the percentage in brackets is the comparative result for North Yorkshire.
